BobRock Cup got it's funny not-connected-to-anything Name from Mascot of Mariborski OK. The Mascot was drawn by Jernej Bravc, showing our sympathy for Italian Comics "Alan Ford". I believe nobody was going to prosecute us for that. Mariborski OK had short but fruitful Live. Of course BobRock as a Member of TNT Group outlived it, finding new host- OK Brežice. First BobRock Cup was organized in 1992 on map Hoče. The making of this map was kind of funny too, but will explain that on another occasion. You just need to know that first Slovenian National Championship was held there in October 1991. We managed to attract 198 runners for two day Event. Night sprint in Maribor followed by classical Distance the following Day. Here are scans from results and article from Večer, the best daily newspaper in Slovenia.
